If you are like me, you love ginger ale but do not like all the artificial ingredients and how sweet it tastes. I find it too sweet. I experimented with my own recipe inspired by one of my idols, the Food Babe. What’s great about making you own is that you can adjust the recipe to make it as sweet as you like.

- 2-inch piece of Ginger Peeled & Juiced I use a lot more because I like it really spicy!
- 12 oz Sparkling or Carbonated Water
- 2 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup Add more if you like it sweet; I prefer honey!
- 1 Squeeze of Lemon
- Juice the ginger in a juicer.
- Combine all ingredients.
Juicing ginger is not as easy as it is not very juicy, therefore, a juicer is better to get as much juice as possible. Adjust the recipe if you want to make a carafe by increasing the ingredients according to how much-carbonated water you use.
Tip: If you don’t have a juicer, you can blend the ginger and lemon juice in a blender.
Tip: mix the honey with a tsp of warm water to help dissolve it before adding it to the mix.
