It’s so crazy to think that working from home while homeschooling 3 kids is my new normal. Honestly, I had a hard time with it at first. It took some time for us to fall into a routine. My kids are 3,6, and 8 which means I have a preschooler, a kindergartner and a second grader. I think distance learning is tougher for the younger kids, because their attention spans are short and I have to stay on top of them to get the work done.  Here are some of the best products I have found to help with distance learning because they are fun and engaging.

1. eeBoo Sight Words Flash Cards

Sight words represent over 50 % of the text in the English language. That means that a child who has mastered their sight words can already recognize at least half of a sentence. This helps build your child’s confidence, promotes reading comprehension and provide clues to the context of the text. My Kindergarten flips through these each day because the best way to learn them is to practice and repeat. $12.95

2. Janod Bodymagnet

Janod Body Magnet allows children to learn all about the human body while having fun. Each body magnet card is labeled in 9 different languages allowing almost anyone to use the cards and it lets you learn new words in new languages. Build yourself the muscular system, skeletal system, organ system or the basic human skin shape. $31.99

3. Primary Science Lab Set

Spark an interest in STEM and a love of learning through science with this extensive lab set. All pieces are designed for kids to be easy to handle. The set includes beaker, magnifying glass, funnel, eyedropper, flask, tweezers, goggles, 1 large test tube (with lid and stand), 2 small test tubes (with lids and stands), plus 10 activity cards. $30.00

4. Janod Magnetic USA Map

Features all of the states in the USA with the capitol cities and landmarks that make them great! 48 pieces create an awesome adventure jigsaw that’s colorful and fun to explore. The 50in x 32in magnetic wood board can be used as a floor puzzle or hung on a wall. The names of the states are on the board as well as the pieces, so children will have an easier time locating them. $25

5. eeBoo I Never Forget a Face Memory Game

The smiling faces of 24 children from countries all over the world are fun and sometimes challenging to match in this memory game. The back cover shows each child and identifies their home country. $15.99

6. What’s the Rhyme? Sorting Houses

Kids master rhyming sounds as they match word tiles to our adorable houses…and drop them in! Each sturdy chipboard house has a word printed on front, with a cute picture clue that helps kids identify the rhyming sound. Children just find the illustrated tiles that match the rhyme on each house…then slip them through the window to sort them into their “homes.” $29.99
